Hello World — Why I Started This Blog

Meta

I've been meaning to start writing for a while. Not for an audience — mostly for myself.

Why write

Research moves fast. I read papers, build prototypes, discuss ideas with collaborators, and then move on to the next thing. Writing forces me to slow down, organize my thinking, and actually understand what I've learned.

What to expect

This blog will cover:

  • Research notes — things I learn from reading papers and running experiments, written to be understandable
  • Engineering write-ups — lessons from building real systems, the kind of knowledge that doesn't fit in a paper
  • Open-source reflections — what I've picked up from contributing to and maintaining projects
  • Broader thoughts — on tooling, workflows, the AI landscape, and whatever else seems worth writing down

The format

Some posts will be long and structured. Others might be short and rough. I'd rather publish something imperfect than wait for something perfect that never ships.

Let's see where this goes.
